Charity Benefit Concert for:     

On Friday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m., Ascension Lutheran Church hosts the sixth-annual “The Hymnal Meets Jazz” benefit concert. This year’s concert is a fundraising event for GiGi’s Playhouse – Charlotte, a national non-profit that supports individuals with Down Syndrome and their families throughout the continuum of life. Please visit www.gigisplayhouse.org/charlotte for more information.  Our fundraising goal is $5,000, 100% of which will be donated to GiGi’s Playhouse - Charlotte to use for programs for their patrons.

Want to attend? Tickets are $25 each. There will also be a preconcert dinner at 6pm (additional purchase night of event) with service provided by a local food truck, Chips and Dips.  Beginning August 18th, go to the Ascension homepage (www.ascensioncharlotte.org) and click on “The Hymnal Meets Jazz” link for ticket purchase and food truck menu.

A food truck will be available to purchase dinner. Please bring cash for the food truck.
