Voter's Assembly The Voter’s Assembly is the primary governing body of Ascension Lutheran Church. It meets at least four times per year to conduct the business of the congregation.  The voters meet to hear reports of Ministry Groups, to set the budget and carry out other legal transactions.  Any confirmed member of this congregation who is at least eighteen years of age shall be a voting member.
Ministry Groups Ascension has 9 Ministry Groups - Finance, Properties, Personnel, Fellowship, Outreach, Worship, School, Family and Small Groups. Each Group has a leader who has the latitude and authority within limits to execute their areas of ministry. They may recruit as many people as they believe are necessary to help fulfill the goals of the Ministry Group. Each leader will present a report on their Groups during quarterly congregation meetings and will also report to either the Director or the Senior Pastor as is shown on the organizational chart below
